Admissions Overview
Yale PA Online enrolls ambitious, promising students from across the country. Our students come from diverse educational, cultural, and professional backgrounds, but all candidates display essential characteristics such as intelligence, maturity, and motivation to advance the physician assistant profession.
Yale Medical School is committed to contributing to a health care workforce that reflects the diversity of the patients it serves. We seek to enroll students from a range of ethnic and economic backgrounds, including from communities that have been historically underrepresented in the medical profession.
Applications are accepted through CASPA (Central Application Service for Physician Assistants), which generally opens in late April of each year.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so we recommend that applicants complete the CASPA online application and supplemental application as early as possible.
The sooner you apply, the earlier you will receive an admissions decision. We recommend applying by the priority deadline to ensure you have plenty of time to consider your financial aid options and prepare for your classes.
Visit the application requirements page for a complete list of the items required to apply.
