Three Yale School of Medicine Physician Assistant Online (PA Online) Program students have been selected for the prestigious Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) Student Health Policy Fellowship over the past three years. Each year up to 20 PA students from across the United States are chosen to participate in this program.

Mark Perazella, MD, professor of medicine (Nephrology), has received one of the American Society of Nephrology (ASN) Lifetime Achievement Awards, specifically the Robert G. Narins Award. The Robert G. Narins Award, first awarded in 2006, honors individuals who have made substantial and meritorious contributions in education and teaching. The award is named for its inaugural recipient.
Yale’s medical education community celebrated the 10th anniversary of Medical Education Day at Yale (Med Ed Day) on June 9, 2022. Yale School of Medicine’s (YSM) Teaching and Learning Center (TLC), which implements and hosts Med Ed Day each year, launched the conference within one year after the TLC was established.
